Thailand Pass application guidelines – Updated May 2022

With the recovery from the pandemic, Thailand Government is gradually opening the border to welcome tourists back. Starting from 01 May 2022, fully vaccinated travelers only need to register for a Thailand pass to enter Thailand with the exemption of quarantine.

Currently, there are only 2 programs for those who would like to enter Thailand which are No Quarantine and Quarantine. No Quarantine is applicable for fully vaccinated travelers against COVID-19 no less than 14 days before traveling, or unvaccinated/not-fully vaccinated travelers with COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued no more than 72 hours before departure. Meanwhile, Quarantine is applied for those who are unvaccinated/ not fully vaccinated.

For those 2 programs, visitors need to register Thailand pass to get approval for their entry. In this post, I would like to provide you with a clear guideline for Thailand Pass application with 100% approval rate.

Required documents for Thailand Pass Registration

There are several documents are required to be submitted on your registration:

Passport
Thai Visa (if required)
Certificate of Vaccination (Not required if you want to enter via Quarantine Program)
Insurance with minimum coverage of 10,000 USD (not required for Thai nationals / foreign residents in Thailand can use social security or a certificate from their employer). You can check the list of recommended insurances for further details
COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued no more than 72 hours before departure (If unvaccinated / not fully vaccinated. Not required if you want to enter via Quarantine Program)

Registration Process for Thailand Pass

By following the easy below steps, you can easily get your Thailand pass approved

Go to Thailand Pass Registration website
Choose your type of travel
After you choose, the document requirement notice will pop up on the screen
Close the popup and choose your nationality (Thai/Non-Thai)
Select suitable programs and agree to the Terms and Conditions to continue
Fill in the required information and click Register
Be directed to the main registration page. For here, you are required to fill in and attach the relevant documents regarding your Personal Information, Vaccination, Contact & Accommodation, Medical insurance & Additional information.
After you have done with the registration form, you will receive an access code on your screen and to your email to track your registration.
You can visit this link and fill in your Access code, Passport number, and Email to check the status of the request, and update or change the documents submitted.
