Is MOCA BANGKOK worth visiting?
MOCA BANGKOK or Museum of Contemporary Art BANGKOK is a museum displaying and exhibiting many exceptional artworks inspired by Thai tradition with the affection and introduction of Western artistic styles in Bangkok, Thailand. It was launched on 23 March 2012 by Boonchai Bencharongkul, who has a deep passion for art. The museum showcases a huge amount of art pieces collected over the past 30 years, which will definitely be worth your visit.

Open: 10 AM – 6 PM, every Tuesday – Sunday.

Transportation: Driving on your own/ Take a taxi, grab, etc../ Take BTS to Mochit Station and take a motorbike taxi to the museum.
The museum has 5 levels inside:
- G floor includes four exhibition halls with two halls for temporary exhibitions and two halls for permanent exhibitions, a shop, and a cafe.
- The second floor is home to a permanent exhibition about Khon Mask and an auditorium.
- The third floor showcases the House of Phimphilalai and a permanent exhibition of Thai Contemporary art.
- The fourth floor displays several types of artworks of great artists, Thawan Duchanee- a noted philosopher and artist who was awarded the National Artist in Painting in 2001, the Passage through the Universe, and the Three Kingdom (Heaven, Middle Earth, Hell).
- The fifth floor exhibits the works of art from many countries such as China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Russia, Italy, Norway, and the USA; and its signature artwork – Richard Green (Victorian Painting).
