This long, sandy beach is one of the most popular spots in Hua Hin. With its clear water and gentle waves, it’s perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxing. There are big rocks on the beach and it is not very long as we imagine, however, we still enjoy it. There are some activities on the beach for you to try, including jetskiing, banana boats, and horse riding.

There are several vendors selling food on the beach and along the entrance of the beach. If you wanna grab some beer and chill on the beach, it is possible here.

Do note that you may need the whole day to explore this place as its attractions are far from each other. There are some highlights in the national park that you should not miss, including hiking up to Khao Daeng Viewpoint to enjoy a panorama view of Hua Hin beach, exploring the mangrove forest at the entrance of the national park, and playing with some monkeys, visiting Sai Cave and enjoy seafood the bottom of the hill, and exploring Phraya Nakhon cave.

The entrance fee is 200 THB per adult and 100 THB per child for foreigners.

Do note that there will be a lot of hiking in this activity. You may need to wear breathable and light clothes and bring water as you will sweat a lot. When visiting Sai Cave, you may need to have a flashlight. You can either rent one at the foot of the hill or use the flash on your mobile phone. There will be a staff at the entrance of the case to remind you and there is a note for you to know if your health is suitable to visit the cave or not.

The preparation is similar when visiting Phraya Nakhon – a great cave with a pavilion inside. However, to enter this cave, you need to take the boat at 400 THB/ trip to visit. The pier will stop operation at 3:00 PM, so do make sure you arrive at it before 3 PM to join the trip. Visiting Khao Sam Roi Yot is really one of the must-do activities in Hua Hin!

It is located in the Phetchaburi province which is a Hua Hin nearby area.  People love to visit this place to see the impressive stalactites and stalagmites as well as the big Buddha statues inside the cave. It is also famous for a number of religious shrines and statues built during the early Ayutthaya period. This makes the place become an important spiritual site for many Thai people. Visitors can explore the cave on foot, walking down the cave from above. You can enjoy the breathtaking scenery and learn about the history and culture of the area.

To reach the entrance of the case, you need to park in Wat Bun Tawee. From here, you will take Songthaew (semi-taxi) to reach the entrance of the cave. The ticket price for the trip is 25 THB/ person, including the Songthaew ride. Visiting Khao Luang cave is really worth it as one of the awesome activities in Hua Hin.
